We hope that you will be delighted with your purchase, however, should you wish to return anything purchased from Damsel in a Dress online we will be happy to refund an item, provided it is in a re-saleable condition. Returns of full price items should be made within 28 days of purchase, whilst sale items should be returned within 14 days of receipt of the last item in your order.
For hygiene reasons we are unable to refund or exchange earrings for pierced ears.
All purchases must be returned in their original condition and be unmarked. Items do not have to be returned in their original packaging, but should be returned in a suitable parcel or package, keeping the item(s) safe from any possible damage.
If you consider there to be a shortage in your order, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order so that we can rectify your order appropriately.
The refund of any money received from you will be made using the same method of payment originally used when placing your order. In the cases of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods, if we agreed to send you a replacement product, the delivery charge for a replacement to be sent out, will not be charged.
Christmas Returns Policy
Any unused item (including Sale) purchased between Saturday 3rd November and Monday 24th December can be returned for a full refund up to, and including, Sunday 13th January 2019.
To return an item, you must return them with all their tickets and labels attached. Item(s) should be returned in their original packaging, or in a suitable parcel or package, keeping the item(s) safe from any damage.
Return To A Phase Eight Store
Damsel in a Dress purchases can be refunded at Phase Eight stand-alone stores in the UK but cannot be exchanged or refunded at any Phase Eight concession, department store or sale outlets.
When returning to store you can present your dispatch note as proof of purchase. Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.
All products purchased from Damsel in a Dress can be returned to our warehouse using the returns label supplied to you with your order:
To return your order via post:
- Attach the Royal Mail returns label from your dispatch note to your parcel, making sure you've removed the original address label.
- Package your parcel securely and ideally the goods should be returned in their original packaging.
- Take the parcel to the Post Office. You will be issued with a receipt, which should be retained until the refund is processed.
Postal returns can take up to 7 working days from our receipt to be processed.
It can take up to 12 working days for us to receive and process your return. Please allow up to 3 working days for your parcel to reach us and a further 7 working days for us to process your return. We’ll also let you know by email when we’ve processed your return. The funds will appear in your account up to 2 working days after we’ve processed your return. If you’ve received an email confirming your refund but can’t see the money in your account after 2 working days please contact your bank/card issuer. We are not liable and cannot take responsibility for any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.
Cancelling your order
If you would like to cancel your order before we have dispatched it from our warehouse then please email us on email@example.com
If your order has already left our warehouse then unfortunately it is not possible to cancel it at this stage. Instead once your order has arrived simply follow the returns instructions enclosed and when we have received your goods you will be issued with a refund.
